Dion Kuteesa
Aeronautics & Astronautics / Spacecraft Engineering | University of Southampton
Hello! My name is Dion Kuteesa. I am an Aeronautics and Astronautics / Spacecraft Engineering student at the University of Southampton with an interest in electric propulsion, multiphysics simulation and autonomous systems.
My background spans research in permanent-magnet Halbach arrays for applied-field magnetoplasmadynamic thrusters (AF-MPDT) at Theta Systems, Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) modelling of intakes for atmosphere-breathing electric propulsion at Titan, and interplanetary trajectory optimisation presented at JAXA.
You can find the reports, CAD models and simulation results on the projects page. I’m happy to be contacted on LinkedIn or by email.
